Calcaneal spurr A heel spur is a hook of bone that can form on the heel bone (calcaneus) .
DIAGNOSIS
A heel spur diagnosis is made when an X-ray shows a hook of bone protruding from the bottom of the foot at the point where the plantar fascia is attached to the heel bone.
SYMPTOMS
Pain in the heel aggrevated in the morning the moment you put your foot out of bed which gets better on walking about. pain coming on when you get up and begin to walk after sitting for a long time. |
